Police force hands out sleep pods for homeless
Great news for our community here in Durham! Our dedicated police force is now providing emergency sleep pods to help those experiencing homelessness. This initiative is a fantastic step towards ensuring everyone in our city gets the support they need.
Durham Police officers say offering emergency shelters helps them register those in need of support.
